MTC Training is one of a number of successful commercial enterprises formed by the University of Sunderland.

Our team of professional staff provide key services and support to guide you through our range of funded and commercial provision. With a policy of continuous staff development, the aim is to ensure all staff meet the highest standards. Our Trainers and Consultants offer full guidance to attendees on the most appropriate training and certifications to meet their needs and career aspirations.

 

MTC Training’s core object is to serve the North-East region as a leading provider of accredited technical IT & Desktop applications, Leadership & Management, Business Administration training and apprenticeships.

We also have strategic partnerships in place with trusted providers, which allows us to offer an even greater range and frequency of services.

We are geared to meet our customer’s implementation and development plans, serving the whole of the North-East region, including, Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham, Teesside, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria and Northumberland.

Who we are

Accredited training

MTC Training offer accredited Project management and IT Training in the following areas.

Microsoft

MTC Training are accredited by Microsoft as a Certified Partner for Learning Solutions. Therefore all Microsoft Technical courses are delivered using Microsoft Official Curriculum courseware by a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

Itil ®

MTC Training offer Accredited IT Service Management (ITIL®) through its accredited training partnership with PeopleCert.

VMWare

MTC Training deliver Accredited VMware training in partnership with a VMware Authorised Training Center (VATC). MTC Training were one of the first training providers in the UK, to offer accredited VMware training.

EC Council

MTC Training are one of a select number of training companies in the UK who partner EC-Council.

As a globally accepted information security organization, EC-Council provides Completely Vendor Neutral tactical security programs. Our certified members earn top salaries by employing the most advanced capabilities.

Authorised Testing

MTC Training offer Authorised testing facilities.

Itil ® Foundation

MTC Training are an approved examination organization and are accredited to offer ITIL® Foundation through its partnership with PeopleCert.

Room Hire

On occasion we do have a little spare capacity and are able to hire out some of our IT training rooms. These having capacity for up to 12 students plus an instructor.

All rooms are fully air conditioned and are equipped with; minimum Intel Core 2 Duo processor, each with at least 8GB RAM (most are 32GB), 21” TFT monitors and permanent 100 Mbps Internet connection; Trainer PC with overhead display and white boards.
