Health and Safety Measures

It is not an exaggeration to say that we are living in extraordinary and unprecedented times, not just in this country but across the world. As part of the University of Sunderland, we are faced with circumstances of a type, and on a scale, that none of us could have imagined.

In line with the government’s guidance, on 1st September 2020 MTC Training’s staff returned to working from the office in a reduced capacity. To protect the health and welfare of both clients and staff, following a comprehensive risk assessment, measures have been put in place to provide a secure Covid19 working environment.

Measures include:

  • Reduced occupancy levels of both clients and staff to enable social distancing.

  • Provision of hand sanitiser.

  • Cleaning and sanitising of workstations between different occupants.

  • Staggering of break times to avoid pinch points.

  • Floor signage to maintain social distancing.

  • Wearing of face masks when moving around the building and in public areas.

Any delegates attending a course at MTC Training must provide their own face mask.

Although some staff at MTC Training have returned to the office the majority of staff will still be working from home whenever possible, with full access to the systems required to provide a seamless customer experience.

MTC Training’s Virtual Classroom continues to be the safest and preferred option with limited courses and reduced capacity available in centre.

Please be assured that we will continue to do everything we can to provide a high-quality service and to keep you informed and up-to-date.
