Customer Service & Sales Apprentice (5 positions available)

Description of Duties

Main Purpose of the Job

• To secure new business via cold calling
• To create opportunities and co-ordinate the sign up of client contracts
• To promote and support the launch of new products and initiatives as required
• To achieve agreed personal and team sales targets

Main Duties

• Achievement of personal sales and performance targets – including high volume outbound cold calling
• Contribute to overall company sales targets and objectives
• To ensure loyal customers are retained in order to maximise future up-selling and renewal opportunities
• Promote and co-ordinate sales activity and secure client contracts
• Active involvement in ongoing development
• Negotiating client contracts
• Communicate and interact with business decision-makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities

Skills Required

• Computer literate with an analytical mind
• GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in IT, Mathematics and English

Personal Qualities

• A naturally strong communicator who is comfortable making high volume calls
• A flexible attitude to working hours to cope with peak workloads and customer requirements
•The interpersonal skills necessary to develop business relationships
• Highly self-motivated and target driven
