Business Administration Apprentice

Description of Duties

To work closely with the Lead Generation team by supporting Business Development Consultants, the Senior Sales Manager, as well as the Managing Director in the following areas:
Supporting the above members of staff with hitting new business targets, including:
• Conducting desktop research to ensure the team has relevant, up to date knowledge for potential new leads
• Answering office phone calls
• Scheduling client and consultant’s diaries
• Taking meeting notes and converting it into an easily readable format
• Supporting the senior team with client and consultant tracking
• Arranging travel and accommodation for consultants
• Administrative work including filing reports or presenting lead generation team with necessary documents
• Managing company website (will be trained to support)
• Support with maintaining CRM systems and other company systems
• Support with general maintenance of the office including: monitoring stationery levels, creating display boards, office schedules etc

Skills Required

• Details Orientated
• Good command of English Language including good vocabulary
• Must have some understanding of Marketing Concepts
• Computer Literate Especially Email, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Word, Internet, CRM e.g. SalesForce would be desirable but not essential
• An excellent knowledge of using social media for business (eg Twitter, Linked In)
• Exceptional time management: Able to work to deadlines and be focused on results
• Resilience and the ability to not take no for an answer
• Excellent telephone manner
• Polished presentation
• Self-motivated with a drive to succeed
• Persuasive communication
• Solid organisational skills

• Good understanding of/ experience in new business function
• Good grasp of IT problem solving
• Experience of working with senior level management
• Knowledge of Survey Monkey or Mail chimp etc
