

The North East Workforce Skills programme seeks to develop a wider, more holistic suit of provision that has been designed to support employers within Tyne and Wear and Northumberland upskill their workforce and stimulate apprenticeship growth.
This programme has been designed to support the development and delivery of the higher skills at L3 and above and giving business the opportunity to gain the skills they need through accredited but more specifically bi-spoke non accredited training. In addition, this prgramme also enables current apprentices to gain skills out with their apprenticeship to support them in their current and future roles.
The University of Sunderland is working in collaboration with, Access Training, CODE, MTC Training, Newcastle College Group, SETA and TDR to ensure that we have full coverage across the Tyne and Wear and Northumberland area.
