MTC Terms and Conditions
MTC Standard Booking Terms and Conditions
A written course confirmation constitutes a firm contract with MTC. Where a course booking is postponed or cancelled with more than 12 working days notice 10% of the total course fee is payable.  For bookings postponed or cancelled within 7-11 working days notice 50% of the course fee is payable.  With 6 working days notice or less the full course fee is payable. Transfers requested at least 12 working days before the course start date will be accepted subject to a 10% fee.  Please note that cancellations/transfers must be in writing to MTC – telephone cancellations/transfers will not be accepted.  Substitutions are allowed.  Course joining instructions will be issued subject to receipt of a completed Course Confirmation document and payment of the course fee.  Admission to this course is conditional on full payment of fees prior to the course start date.  All public courses are run subject to demand and may be cancelled, postponed or changed as necessary. 
MTC Course Guarantee Policy
MTC offers training of the highest standard. If you do not gain the knowledge from a session, which you could reasonably have expected - based on the course outline supplied to you in advance - the following guarantee will be offered (unless otherwise stated):

  • The opportunity to re-attend the same course on the next available date (subject to seat availability). No substitutions allowed 

OR
  • A full refund of the course fee less courseware and refreshment costs. No substitutions allowed.
Certification Track Terms and Conditions 
MTC Certification Tracks are subject to the standard MTC Terms and Conditions, and in addition, to those outlined below.
  • Admission to all track courses is conditional on full payment of Certification Track fees PRIOR to the start of the first track course.
  • No transfers will be accepted
  • Attendance will be on course dates specified by MTC prior to the Certification Track commencing.
  • No Substitutions are allowed.
  • All courses and exams must be taken within 12 months of the first course start date.
  • No refund will be made for exams NOT taken.
  • Passing of exams is not conditional upon attendance on any Certification Track courses.
  • If you are unable to attend a Certification Track course, you may attend on an alternative date, which we determine.   You will be charged an extra sum equivalent to half the current RRP for that course, payable prior to attendance.
  • The MTC Course Guarantee is limited to section 2.1 only.
  • Course topics and dates are fixed and are non-negotiable.
  • The Certification Track price includes:
    Official courseware and certified Trainers plus lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Enhanced Certification Tracks Terms and Conditions
MTC offer an Enhanced Certification Track, which is subject to the standard MTC Terms and Conditions, and in addition, to those outlined below.
  • Admission to all track courses is conditional on full payment of Certification Track fees PRIOR to the start of the first track course.
  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
  • No transfers will be accepted
  • Attendance will be on course dates specified by MTC prior to the Certification Track commencing.
  • Substitutions are allowed.
  • All courses and exams must be taken within 18 months of the first course start date.
  • No refund will be made for exams NOT taken.
  • Passing of exams is not conditional upon attendance on any Certification Track courses.
  • If you are unable to attend a Certification Track course, you may attend on an alternative date, which we determine. Subject to there being alternative dates within the contract period.
  • Additional elective topics may be purchased at 50% below the current RRP at any point during the Enhanced Certification Track period.
  • The MTC Course Guarantee is limited to section 2.1 only.
  • The Certification Track price includes:
    Official courseware and certified Trainers plus lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Exam Vouchers issued by MTC
All exam vouchers issued by MTC will always have an expiry.  MTC will accept no responsibility for vouchers issued and which subsequently expire.
Payments to MTC
U.S.E. Limited issues invoices on behalf of MTC and therefore you will need to instruct your finance department/section to make all payments to U.S.E. Limited.
